Retos de la investigación y comercialización de nuevos fármacos

This monograph reflects on the most relevant issues proposed by the availability in the market of new medicines as a result of pharmacological research. This is an activity that has, for some years, become very regulated in developed countries, but with escape routes and other specific problems in countries with emerging or developing economies, in some of which this sector is in full expansion.


	The state of the research, including bioprospecting, applicable ethical principles, legal liability that may be derived from this activity, issues regarding international trade, European regulation in regards to patents and the conditions for shared use of benefits, are the issues on which the authors have focused their analysis.
