Professional Activity. Professor at the University of Deusto in the following subjects: "Law, Bioethics and Biotechnology", "From Biotechnology to Bioethics" and "Human Resources".

Research Member of the Interuniversity Chair Fundación BBVA - Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, in Law and Human Genome, University of Deusto-University of the Basque Country/EHU, since its beginning in 1994, where she is coordinator of seminars and periodical publications.

Education and Professional Training.
Graduate in Law (1993) from the University of Deusto (Spain)
Doctorate in Law (1999) from the University of Deusto (Spain)

To expand her professional training she has taken several positions abroad: University of Brighton, Eastbourg Campus and at the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom).

- Ethical-Legal Panorama of Individualized Medicine
- Pre-implantation Diagnosis: Present and Future Perspectives

Awards and Distinctions. Received special mention in the 7th Business Initiatives Contest granted by Lan Ekintza, Bilbao.

Received UD-Grupo Santander research award at the Announcement.

Member of the High Performance Team “Faculty of Law and the Human Genome.

Publications. Author, co-author, and editor of several books and articles published in different countries and in five languages (more than 60)
